Resumés are at best a summary of experience and at worst a fabrication of performance. They are far from predictive and borderline useful, and yet they are still used to filter out 90%+ of applicants.
Those candidates have a hard time feeling fairly assessed based on their resumé alone. They rarely get feedback on why they were rejected, especially when they didn't even get a chance to talk to a recruiter. This is demoralizing for candidates and damaging for companies' brands.
Clearly, everyone needs a new model for hiring. One that could help predict the success of candidates in a job using machine learning instead of instincts. Andrew brings nearly 15 years of experience in building high growth go-to-market teams. He is currently the VP of Global Enterprise Sales at Walkme. Prior to joining Walkme, he held leadership roles at Talkdesk and Zendesk. At Zendesk he helped lead and scale the sales organization through one of 2014's most successful IPO's with a market cap of more than $2 billion. Before Zendesk he worked at Salesforce.com, Parature (Acquired by Microsoft), and Get Satisfaction (Acquired by Sprinklr).
Jake is the Founder and CEO of Skaled, which helps many of the world's leading startups and Fortune 500 companies implement leading sales processes and technology. Prior to Skaled, Jake served as Head of Sales & Customer Success for Chartbeat, where he grew annual bookings by over 300% and nearly doubled monthly recurring revenue. Prior to that, Jake was the VP of Sales at Glassdoor, where he grew the team from 1 to 40 and revenue from $0 to $1M in MRR. He holds an MBA from ASU as well as a BS from Missouri State University.
